Ely State Theater was built in 1936 in Minnesota, US by the Sawanson family. By 2008 the recession had caused the theater to shut down its public service and remain closed until six years later. In 2014 the theater was bought by Ally A Relaty family business that specializes in historic preservation and redevelopment.

In 2019 eomac had the pleasure to contribute to Ely State theater's refurbishment and development. We shimmed the walls, supplied and installed our Pro-Stretch system onto wood blocking and installed in and around their existing historical light fixtures.

Helping to update and preserve a historic theatre is one of the many unique projects eomac has participated in!
